Oftentimes we are approached by outfitters who would like us to do a
television program featuring their hunts. The first thing we tell the
outfitter is that we require complete honesty. We are not looking to promote
anyone who makes claims they can’t back up. Below, in alphabetical
order, is a partial listing of outfitters we have recently hunted with and can highly recommend.

Trophy Hunts
Tom Shankster, Alaskan Master Guide # 148
S. DeGaulle St. Aurora, Colorado 80018
Phone 303-364-5877
Tom runs an excellent Dall Sheep camp and is very mobile, enabling him to set up where the sheep are; making his success
rate high. Tom is
an honest, laid-back man who works hard for his clients. In addition to sheep,
he outfits for moose, grizzly and caribou. Black bear and wolf can be added
at no charge with a full price hunt for other species. We recommend Tom very highly.

Big Bear Country Outfitters

Steve Overguard

Jason
Packer Phone 403-638-5155
We
have hunted both elk and bear with Steve Overguard and Jason Packer. We also have several
friends who have hunted whitetail deer with Steve over the years. These experiences have always been positive. We recommend
Big Bear Country Outfitters, especially if you want an opportunity to take a really big black bear. Although six and a half foot bears are common, seven and even eight foot bears are taken each year,
with a two bear limit in the area. The hunting is done over active baits,
and shots will be close.

| Greg Eddy with his parents Dennis & Donna |
Canyon Creek Outfitters
P.O. Box 364 Teton, Idaho 83451
Cell 208-351-2750 or 208-351-1949
Travis Lusk
and Trent Wood offer exceptional elk
hunting in beautiful Canyon Creek. This herd is privately managed and enclosed
to maintain superior genetics while restricting access. In September of 2006
we took our friend Greg Eddy from Wisconsin on his first elk hunt. He was fortunate
in bagging a beautiful six by six with lots of mass and tine length. Greg,
hunting from a portable blind and using a Trijicon scope on his rifle, intercepted the huge bull as it was heading to the
CRP fields to feed. The staff at Canyon Creek was dedicated to showing Greg
a good time and intent on making his hunt a dream come true.
Little Lost Outfitters
Corey & Jessica Dailey
P.O. Box 160
Terreton, Idaho 83450
Phone 208-767-3356
We find Corey and Jessica Dailey to be devoted to your success. Corey is one of the hardest working outfitters/guides
you will ever come across. Their area has
a very high percentage of color phase bears, and most years it runs fifty percent or higher.
Best known as a hounds-man for bears and mountain lions; Corey's
archery elk hunts are very productive. Rifle elk hunting is on a draw in his
area but if you are lucky in the drawing your chances are excellent at tagging a nice six point. The area also holds some big old mountain mule deer. Antelope
and mountain goat are also on Corey’s list of animals hunted. Whatever species you choose Corey and Jessica will give it their all to make
your dream hunt a reality.

Newfoundland continues to provide excellent
big game hunting opportunities. We are fortunate to be able to present first hand knowledge of excellent
outfitters. Hazen and Diane Chippet offer great moose hunting, with a very high success rate. However, we experienced
what a dream vacation their bear hunts can be. There are plenty of bears, but what we discovered
is something very special and unique to their operation. Hazen is a crab and lobster fisherman in
addition to his outfitting duties. When joining Hazen and Diane, you will have the opportunity to experience
Newfoundland at its finest while at Ocean Side Country Lodge on a spring bear hunt.
The Chippets will take you for a cruise in their boat in search of icebergs, bald eagles, whales, and
other sea life. Be sure to bring your spouse because you'll be treated to fresh crab and lobster plucked out of the
North Atlantic and then cooked over an open fire on a quiet island cove. If you are looking
for a hunt with honest hard working people then book with Hazen and Diane
Chippet.

Ram Creek Outfitters
Steve & Stefanie Leuenberger
Box 27
Wardner, British Columbia VOB2JO
Phone 250-429-3238
In November
of 2005 we had the opportunity to hunt with Steve for mountain mule deer
in the beautiful Kootney range. Steve runs an excellent camp and the hunt was a success in every way. Steve and his guides were all that could be expected and hoped for. Steve is fortunate to have an area where many species abound. We saw several bighorn sheep and a hunter in shape should be able to take an excellent ram. The area requires a full curl so the sheep have the opportunity to age and grow to their full trophy status. The elk hunts are for six point bulls, and opportunities for either archery or
rifle bugle hunts make it very exciting. Steve's hunters take some magnificent trophies. Many of Ram Creek’s
clients are repeat customers which is a testament to their operation. Our total
experience was positive and we recommend this outfit for any and all species offered.
Ram Creek Outfitters offers hunts for bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer, moose, black and grizzly bear, mountain goat,
cougar, bobcat, lynx, and wolf.

Rock Camp
Outfitters
Trevor
and Theresa Keough
General Delivery
Parsons Pond, Newfoundland
A0K3Z0
Phone 709-243-7208
Six of us hunted woodland caribou with Trevor
and his family in October of 2005 and had a wonderful hunt. We all took nice
animals and one member of our group purchased a bird license and bagged his daily limit of ptarmigan. Newfoundland is the only place, to our knowledge, that you
can hunt the woodland caribou and Trevor’s area is excellent. He runs a first class operation with the able assistance of his family and top rated guides. Theresa was our cook and Adam, their son,
was one of the guides. The trip into camp is by helicopter which makes for smooth
landings on the tundra type country. Look no further for a great outfit to hunt
woodland caribou. Trevor also hunts moose and
books up early for these high success hunts. We recommend the Keough family and
Rock Camp Outfitters for a Newfoundland trip of a lifetime.

We always have a great
time with Gunther and Zabrina. Our friend, Cheryl
Moore, really enjoyed her bear hunt with Wizard Lake Outfitting. Their small operation makes it possible to pay attention to detail. If you are an archery hunter, we suggest you also try their fantastic hunt in Edmonton’s
famous “Bow Zone" for monster whitetails. Having been closed to gun hunters
since the '60's, the “Bow Zone" is arguably the best whitetail bow hunting area in the world. Gunther and Zabrina will make every effort to give you a first class hunt.
We recommend their services without reservation!
